Nia Wyn

+ Support from Harry Linacre

an evening of  Live Music at Camden Assembly!

Camden Live presents Nia Wyn! Welsh soul artist Nia Wyn has a talent for raw and powerful storytelling. Growing up in a small town in North Wales, Nia struggled with mental illness, isolation and confusion around her identity, taking solace in old records she found and playing guitar in her room. Inspired by the soul that came out of Philadelphia, Memphis and Detroit in the 60s and 70s, Nia writes, produces and sings songs about modern issues: being queer, hard times young people face in the UK, mental health and neurodiversity. After signing with Marshall for bookings, Nia is focusing on her debut album set for 2024 that will see her return to her roots of influence. Nia’s recent achievements include supporting Paul Weller on his sold-out UK tour, performing at Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival and Lytham Festival, and sync placements on FIFA 21 and Shondaland's Station 19. Her music has seen support across radio with plays from Jack Saunders (BBC R1) and Craig Charles (6 Music) and editorial playlisting (Spotify New Music Friday UK, Soul 'N' The City and Fresh Finds Jazz to name a few). Nia will be joining US Soul/Disco female-led band Say She She on tour in March 2024.
